LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES...CHINATOWN'S MINI SOHO..

Les Enfant is located on 37 Canal St. (take the F to 2nd Ave) and its right around the corner. Don't you love the name sounds naughty!-THE BAD CHILDREN!!LOL Anyway, Don't be surprised by the area-I was! I was thinking to myself that my friend gave me wrong directions-all i saw was a bodega, and a Chinese veggie shop closing up...But right on the corner, there was Les Enfants, a dimly lit warm bar/restaurant. So cous cous....I love this place peeps, its a like a little haven in China town. I met a friend late Saturday night to grab a couple martinis and catch up-it was perfect. I love the crowd, older FAB New Yorkers! Quite a few French folks (since its a French restaurant). They even have a DJ-who quite FINE..I might say..good eye candy!! It's a perfect restaurant for a small b'day party-very private and chic! Def. worth checking out. I didn't get to try and food-but it looks amazing..

Here is a quick look at the menu. A lot of the food is African infused French based dishes...Anyway it looks amazing!! Especially the dish from Cote di'vore...mmmm! LOL

Def. a cool place worth checking out plus its a great spot for those New Yorkers who love hangingout late night-I'm talking NY Time...4 am!!

ASHKARA...KOSHER VEGETARIAN FOOD..FOR PRE OR POST HAPPY HOUR!

Located on 189 E. Houston between Ludlow and Orchard St. my friends and I were solicated with some free falafal samples post Happy Hour on the street. So my friends and I decided to go check it out. Ashkara is a real neat Kosher vegetarian spot for complete fulfilling falafel sandwich! My favorite Falafel sandwiches comes for Mamon's(another falafel spot)...which I need to feature, but I have to say, Ashkara comes pretty close. The fresh sandwiches are made by my buddy Noeme (not sure if I spelt his name right he's from Israel). He's super sweet and friendly and that's always a PLUS! Anyway you get to fill your falafel with yummy vegetarian fillings liks hummus, carrots, tomotaes...(I think over 12 filings) and the cost..just $5 something!! I've been haning out quite a bit around the area and Ashkara makes the perfect dinner to grab before or after Happy Hour TRUST!!!
